Stories of our loved ones...

SHARE YOUR STORIES...

I've created this page for my readers to share stories of their loved ones in the hope that doing so might humanize them to the rest of society, and hopefully, to the people running the CDCR. All too often, we forget that the men and women in prison are people, that the punishment inflicted upon them extends to those left behind. While incarceration is sometimes needed to protect society, it's a tool we've used far too often, for too harshly and for offenses that, in many instances, would never happen again, and today, we're seeing the results of mass incarceration as our loved ones are infected, many of them dying on a prison, completely alone and feeling forgotten, unloved and unforgiven. This needs to change, not now, but RIGHT NOW.

With that said, take a moment and share your stories. Who are you speaking for? Why were they caged like an animal? How have they changed? How is the COVID 19 pandemic impacting them? And, unlike most sites, I've made every attempt to allow you to so with complete anonymity. You don't even need to provide an email address.

RELEASED WITH COVID 19,
UNDERLYING MEDICAL CONDITIONS
AND WITHOUT MY MEDICAL RECORDS

So the CDCR has finally begun the process of releasing its captives. Or at least, those who haven't been excluded based on whatever meaningless criteria chosen for the day. One of these individuals, who shall remain nameless to protect the innocent, had tested positive for COVID 19. After being sick for awhile, he was tested again and told he was negative before being allowed to integrate with the rest of the captive population. After some time, this older gentleman with serious health problems was finally released into society, to be picked up by his family. Naturally, CDCR doesn't like being told what to do, so they took this opportunity to get in a few final jabs. Not only did they give his poor family the runaround when they came to pick him up, having them come to the prison to get him, only to tell them they needed to drive to the bus stop after they arrived, they also released this guy WITHOUT HIS MEDICAL RECORDS!! They claimed they don't have the resources to give these digital records to his attorney, to him.or his doctors. But wait, it gets worse. Come to find out he still has COVID 19! And he's without his medical records...

As someone who knows where many.of the bodies are buried in here, I can't help but wonder whether or not his test results were in fact positive that second time they tested him, and that he was intentionally released from medical isolation in the hopes he'd spread the infection. Keep in mind that this is the same entity that transferred people they knew were positive, so anything is possible. Their refusal to give a patient his medical records seems to imply an attempt to cover up their actions, negligence or otherwise.

I am by no means advocating that CDVR continue to incarcerate its captives, but I do want to point out several dangers that need to be addressed. First, these tests frequently provide false negatives, so if you're picking up a loved one from prison, don't accept their results as Gospel. I wouldn't put it past them to tell you your loved one is negative, knowing all along they're positive, just to spread the infection to the friends and family members of those who cared enough to fight for him or her. Secondly, not all of us are going to be fortunate enough to be picked up from the prison. Many are going to have to sit for hours in a bus to get to our final destination, slowly spreading the virus the entire time in that cramped bus. So why not at least offer us with an opportunity to parole somewhere else, if we so desire?

  2. Defund CDCR, and make all those self rightous bitches live in the same cells they infected with their reckless disregard to our loved ones health, but without their precious families in tow, until our visits are restored is my shout-out to Centinela CSP.
